Plan Type Service Contract

The PlanType entity and related methods provide access to information about the Plan Types the agency has defined and associated with specific companies. In addition to several standard plan types, the agency may define additional plan types that are specific to a particular insurance company.

While the agency may not delete standard plan types, it may mark them as hidden if the agency does not want them to appear in the AMS360 user interface. Hidden plans are not returned by the methods that retrieve lists of plan types so that user interfaces populated from the list will be consistent with AMS360.
